CRSA SERIES HEATS UP WITH TWO CAPITAL DISTRICT RACES THIS WEEKEND
Oneonta, NY….The CRSA Sprint Tour season heats up the next two weeks with five races in twelve days. The tour moves in to the Capital District this weekend with two races starting Friday at the Albany Saratoga Speedway in Malta, New York. Josh Flint is the most recent winner at Albany Saratoga winning the first tour race at the speedway in June over Josh Pieniazek and Chad King. The series moves Saturday to the Lebanon Valley Speedway in West Lebanon, New York. This is the first start at the big Lebanon Valley oval in 2015.
The exciting CRSA Tour moves to the Binghamton area with a two race weekend August 21st and 22nd at Penn Can Speedway in Susquehanna Pennsylvania on Friday followed by a Saturday date at the Five Mile Point Speedway in Kirkwood, New York. The tour then moves to I-88 Speedway for a rare mid-week race Tuesday August 25th for the Earl Halaquist Memorial.
Coming into this two race weekend Pieniazek has a slim point lead in the CRSA point standings. Three other CRSA drivers are within one hundred points of top ten spots. Kyle Smith, Dalton Herrick, and Chad Miller are all within striking distance with these important races on the tour schedule. Anything can happen as the series has had eight different feature winners with Scott Goodrich leading the way with five feature wins. Rookie driver, Brian Krummel, is the only other driver with multiple wins, he has two wins on the circuit thus far this season.
The CRSA Sprint Car Tour is sponsored in part by the following fine sponsors: American Race Tires, Kelly Race Fuels, Schaeffer Oil, Kennedy's Towing, Ingles Performance, Panther Frameworx, Inc, Vertex Magsarus, Kreitz Oval Track Supply, Bob Hilbert Sportswear, and M&W Aluminum Products.
