The Fonda/Rotterdam and OCFS Car Show were a huge success with plenty of cars, racers and fans attending the events. CRSA was well represented as sprint cars are becoming more popular in the Southern Tier.
The Fonda Speedway car show kicked off the March Madness and showcased two new drivers making the transition to sprint cars: Joshua Flint (41j) and Jeremiah Munson (51). Veteran Cory Sparks also has his new ?#?1HD? ready to go and on display for the fans.
OCFS was also a success with CRSA multi-A-Main winner, Joe Kata, present introducing his new team and sponsors. First time A-Main winner, Emily VanInwegen, had her #19em on display alongside the 2014 Rookie of the Year driver, Thomas Radivoy, with his black and orange #1Q. Another sprinter on the floor was the #1r of Christian Rumsey, who is making his debut in sprint car racing after spending a few years in the sportsman/modified ranks. Official CRSA photographer, Danielle "Snowflake" Dickinson, was splitting her time between taking photos and signing autographs at her beautiful #44 micro sprint. Yes, she is a driver too! (she can't wait for a shot behind the wheel of a CRSA sprinter)
It looks to be an exciting 10th Anniversary season with some new drivers, new teams, a couple mid-week shows, a return to Utica Rome, another 40lap race at I-88, and a season long raffle for a FREE Panther Frameworks chassis! (Details coming soon).
Stay tuned for more new and exciting announcements...
