Press Release By: Marty Czekala – September 6, 2025
WEEDSPORT, N.Y. – Despite all best attempts to get the show in, CRSA officials, along with DIRTcar officials and Weedsport Speedway track officials, have postponed the I-90 Pit Stop Challenge/full points payout finale due to rain.
Skies opened up on the Cayuga County property at 8 a.m. and aren’t expected to end until mid-afternoon. With heavy rain leaving track grounds unfit for racing, this left officials no choice but to call off the night.
Further information on a makeup date will be announced at a later date. Should this event run, a full points payout will still take place. Stay tuned to CRSASprints.com and Facebook @CRSASprints for more information.
Attention now turns to next weekend for the return of the two-night New York 305 Nationals presented by Dandy at Woodhull Raceway. The show-up points event pays out $4000 to win, the richest race and total purse in CRSA history.
