When the CRSA Sprints conclude the month of August, they will do so at a new track.

Mike Emhof Motorsports is pleased to announce that “The Future Stars of Sprint Cars” will head to Brewerton Speedway Aug. 23 for the first time. The 1/3 mile D-shaped oval will become the 25th different CRSA has pushed off at and would become the 12th track, at most, to host the 305 Sprints this season.

Sprint car racing is not new to "The D-Shaped Dirt Demon," as Brewerton hosted the Empire Super Sprints twice this year and 600 Micro Sprints. The track also hosted the Patriot Sprint Tour, another MEM series, back in 2016.

But this is the first time in recent memory that 305 Sprints have invaded Brewerton. To close the deal, CRSA utilized Paul Colagiovanni's work in the communications and negotiations.

“CRSA had an opening in their schedule, so we reached out to Brewerton, and they accepted our offer to come race at their track," said Colagiovanni. “CRSA has developed a good product, and any track would benefit, in my opinion, from them coming racing. It’s a privilege to race at a track like Brewerton.”

Colagiovanni also shared that more money will be added to the purse for this event from increased tow money from the B-Main.

"The purse of $1000 to win and $200 to start is excellent," Colagiovanni explained. “The guys who don’t make the show currently get $50. In Brewerton’s case, it’s going to have a minimum of $100 tow money. We’re working with sponsors, in which fifth-ninth from the B-Main will pay $150, 10th-14th will pay $125 and everyone else will pay $100 for attempting to qualify."

“When we were looking for tracks to fill the void for this weekend, we had been in talks with Brewerton to host a race,” Mike Emhof said. “We have to thank Paul Colagiovanni for his assistance in setting this up and the management team at Brewerton Speedway for hosting us! Not only are we looking forward to a great race, but we also want to benefit those who don't qualify into our feature.”

"The fields have been strong wherever the series goes, and we are pleased to welcome them to "The Demon," said Cory Reed, general manager of Brewerton Speedway.

Hot laps are planned to start at Brewerton at 6:10 p.m. Aug. 23, with racing at 7 p.m.

A list of sponsors to help with the tow money will be revealed in the coming months.
