CRSA STARTS AN EXCITING TWO RACE WEEKEND AT FIVE MILE POINT AND UTICA ROME
Oneonta, New York…The CRSA Sprint Tour is heading into a very busy weekend of racing. Saturday the tour returns to Five Mile Point Speedway in Kirkwood, New York. On Sunday the tour returns to Utica Rome Speedway after several years off at the Vernon, New York oval.

The tricky quarter mile at Five Mile Point has been a mainstay on the CRSA Tour over the past several seasons. Scott Goodrich, coming off his recent win at Orange County, was the feature winner in June when the tour raced there last. Goodrich held off Mike Kiser and point leader Kyle Smith.

On Sunday the CRSA sprint cars will do battle at the Utica Rome Speedway. The tour series has not raced at Utica Rome for several years and drivers are excited to make their return.

“This is a race that all our teams have been looking forward to all season,” states CRSA ‘s Mike Van Dusen. “Our roots are here in this area when the CRSA began many years back. Teams are thrilled at getting a chance to race at Utica Rome.”

At the mid-point of the 2015 season points are getting interesting, After the last Orange County race Kyle Smith is leading the pack over Josh Pieniazek, Dalton Herrick, Chad Miller, Brett Jaycox, Josh Flint, Thomas Radivoy, Brian Kummell, John Matrafailo, and Scott Goodrich. Scott Goodrich leads the tour with four wins on the season with Brian Krummel, Corey Sparks, Josh Pieniazek, and Josh Flint also picking up wins.

Racing at Five Mile Point Speedway will begin with gates opening at 3:00 and racing at 6:00. At Utica Rome gates open at 3:30 p.m. racing at 6 p.m. For more information check out the CRSA web page at http://crsa.myracepass.com.
